Miley Cyrus: Revelation of the Year on the Cover of Harper's Bazaar US

Miley Cyrus isn’t afraid to be herself, and it’s this bravery that makes her an icon of her generation. In the December-January issue of Harper’s Bazaar US 2024/2025, she shines on the cover, sharing her thoughts on her new album, inspiration, and the importance of loved ones in the creative process.

For the photoshoot organized by photographer Ethan James Green, Miley appeared in two radically different looks. On the first cover, she wears a refined body from Christian Dior Haute Couture that emphasizes her boldness and confidence. On the second, she’s wrapped in a cozy shearling coat from Valentino, which adds warmth and softness to her image.

Stylist Carlos Nazario selected outfits from leading brands such as Khaite, Commando, Bloch, Gucci, Wolford, Ludovic de Saint Sernin, and Chanel. Each one reflects different facets of Miley’s personality – from bold and provocative to refined and tender.

Her hair, styled by Bob Reskin, creates a relaxed and natural look. Makeup by James Kaliardos accentuates the singer’s expressive eyes, while manicure by Jin Sun Choi adds the final touches.

In an interview prepared by Harper’s Bazaar’s Digital Director Izzi Greenspan, Miley opens up about her upcoming album. According to her, the new project will be the most personal of her career, as she drew inspiration from her relationships with close people.

“I’ve always believed that real magic happens when you work with those who understand you,” Miley shares. She mentions her idols and inspirations, including both classic rock legends and contemporary figures.
