Amanda Seyfried is back in the spotlight: her new film “The Housemaid” officially releases today, and the actress shared with L’OFFICIEL her thoughts on life, work, and, of course, her beloved pet.

“I wake up every morning and wonder if he’s still alive,” Amanda admitted honestly about her 15-year-old dog Finn. For the actress, he’s not just a dog — he’s a family member she’s spent more than a decade with. And although Finn no longer accompanies her on set, his presence is still felt. “I asked Sydney [Sweeney], ‘Do you have a dog to bring to set?’ — thank God she does,” Amanda joked.

When she’s not filming, Seyfried enjoys the peaceful life on her farm in upstate New York. There, she relaxes, takes care of household chores, and, of course, spends time with Finn. This life close to nature, according to the actress, helps her stay grounded and maintain balance between her career and personal happiness.

Beyond the joys of home life, Amanda shared her list of top 10 favorite films, which naturally includes comedies like “Bridesmaids.” “These films lift your spirits and remind you that laughter is the best therapy,” she says.

Amanda Seyfried proves once again that being a celebrity isn’t just about red carpets and premieres — it’s about genuine emotions, love for animals, and the ability to enjoy life’s simple pleasures. Finn, the farm, and great movies — that’s her secret to harmony, inspiring millions of women around the world.
