Bella Thorne on Mickey Rourke: Working with Him Was Disgusting!

Bella Thorne is opening up about her uncomfortable experience working with Mickey Rourke on the film Girl, which was released in 2020. In the movie, Bella portrays a young woman who returns to her hometown to confront her abusive father, while Mickey plays the role of a local sheriff.

After some time, Bella took to social media to share her disturbing experience with Rourke, calling it a "nightmare."

In a series of posts, Bella detailed some of the shocking behavior she allegedly encountered during filming. She said, “This f*ing guy. GROSS. I had to film a scene with him where I’m on my knees, my hands zip-tied behind my back. He was supposed to use a metal grinder near my kneecap, but instead, he used it on my genitals through my jeans, hitting them over and over again.”

Bella went on to reveal, “I had bruises on my pelvic bone. Working with Mickey was one of the worst experiences of my acting career."

Her post came in response to news that Mickey was reportedly warned for making homophobic comments about JoJo Siwa on Celebrity Big Brother UK. Bella also posted additional accusations in her Instagram Stories, sharing more troubling details from the set.

She explained, “I have so many disgusting stories about what he made me go through during the filming of that movie, including the final scene where he revved up his motorcycle just to cover me in dirt from head to toe. I guess he thought it was funny to humiliate me in front of the whole crew."

Bella continued, revealing the emotional toll of working with Mickey: “I had to go into his trailer completely alone because he refused to speak to the director or producers. I had to convince him to come to set and do his job while he shouted insane demands at the producers. I had to beg. Alone. In his trailer. Because the movie couldn’t be finished without him. Everyone’s work would have been wasted. I didn’t want to do it. I was uncomfortable, but I did what I was asked to.”

As of now, Mickey Rourke has not publicly responded to Bella’s accusations.
