They are a couple who grew up under the glare of cameras, had a wedding on magazine covers, and now face motherhood. But while it may seem glamorous to the public, for Hailey Bieber it’s a path full of complex emotions, self-reflection, and accepting a new reality. In a candid interview with Vogue Italia, the model opened up for the first time about the most vulnerable stage of her life — the postpartum period.
Hailey admits that childbirth and the postpartum phase were an emotional trial. Despite outward stability, inside she faced a storm:
“The postpartum period is the most delicate time I’ve ever gone through. I’m still learning to be a new version of myself. It’s hard. And when you’re doing this amid a storm of rumors that your marriage is ‘falling apart,’ it’s scary. A crazy life…”
The internet isn’t always a friend, especially when every photo, every silence is interpreted as a “sign of divorce” or “marital problems.” But Hailey holds strong. For herself. For her son. For love.
The pregnancy wasn’t planned and, she says, it was a shock:
“It was a surprise. Accepting it was hard. The emotions were all over the place. You realize life will never be the same again. Yes, it will be better. But not like before. You will never be alone again. And you and your partner will no longer be just the two of you…”
This isn’t the kind of growing up you see in movies. It’s a real transformation, where romantic walks for two give way to sleepless nights and diapers. And at the same time, it’s a love Hailey describes as deep and unconditional.
Their son, Jack Blues Bieber, was born at the end of August 2024. The family recently celebrated 11 months, and Hailey doesn’t hide how moved she is by her feelings:
“11 months. Sorry, but today I’m going to cry thinking that my little one will turn one in a month…”
It’s a sincerity you can’t fake. It’s the side of motherhood rarely shown on Instagram: tears of joy, confusion, fear of time slipping away too fast.
Hailey and Justin Bieber have been together since 2018. Through fame, criticism, and rumors, they remain a team. And while their marriage is often discussed from the outside, only they know what’s really going on inside.
