A Summer Reverie: Supriya Lele and Mango Launch a Collection That Turns Heat into Art

What does summer mean to you? The wind in your hair, the taste of salty water on your lips, the rustle of light fabric against your skin, the evening heat that makes you want to shed everything unnecessary and melt into the sunset… These very feelings inspired the new collaboration between British-Indian designer Supriya Lele and the Spanish brand Mango. Their joint creation carries the poetic name A Summer Reverie.

This is not just a capsule collection. It’s the first bold statement from the Mango Collective platform — a project designed to support and promote young designers with a fresh and daring approach to fashion. Supriya Lele is the first to open this new fashion world — and she did it brilliantly!

The collection consists of 34 pieces — each seeming to whisper: “Be bold. Be free. Be yourself.” Airy maxi dresses, flowing skirts, swimsuits with daring cut-outs, playful draping, and sheer fabrics that feel like a second skin. The color palette feels like a summer party by the shore: shimmering blue, vibrant pink, and cozy chocolate brown.

The design was inspired by those magical, almost surreal moments when day turns to night, the sun sets but the heat lingers, when summer whispers right into your ear. This isn’t just clothing — it’s a way to convey sensations, dreams, summer illusions, and the lightness of being.

The campaign was shot by renowned photographer Johnny Dufort — his images seem filled with vibrant light. A video by director Julien Pujol adds movement, sensuality, and rhythm that need no words.
