The Best Seductive Women’s Fragrances with Vanilla Notes

So, here are the best fragrances with vanilla notes, both new and well-known legends.

Noble, warm, gourmand, exquisite, feminine, comforting – vanilla is one of the most beloved and precious ingredients in perfumery. It has been used for ages and is currently at the peak of its popularity: the scent of vanilla has the ability to soothe, creating an illusion of safety, home, celebration, and bliss. Exactly what we crave in turbulent times.

So, here are the best fragrances with vanilla notes, both new and well-known legends.

Burberry Goddess

A gourmand fragrance based on three distinct extracts of vanilla. Hand-harvested beans are dried in the sun for five to seven weeks. They are then stored in wooden boxes to mature and reveal their sweet signature aroma.

“My initial goal in creating Burberry Goddess was to go beyond the ordinary use of vanilla, creating a new type of olfactory sensations. To do this, I used three different forms of vanilla. First, there is the infusion of vanilla, which represents the brightest woody vanilla. The next component is Firgood™, also known as ‘vanilla caviar.’ This innovative ingredient adds a sweet, rich, and animalistic flavor of vanilla. Finally, there is the absolute of vanilla. Even more expressive and deep, it gives the fragrance a mysterious, exquisite nuance,” says the perfume’s creator, perfumer Amandine Clerc-Marie.

In the process of forming the perfect vanilla chord, precious vanilla is wrapped in a blend of bright notes of Lavender Diva essence from Provence and earthy shades of cocoa and ginger roots, creating an aromatic balance for each type of vanilla.

The Burberry Goddess bottle can be reused for the first time in the brand's history. The fragrance's ambassador is actress Emma Mackey, star of the films “Barbie” and “Death on the Nile.”

Paco Rabanne Fame

The new fragrance Paco Rabanne Fame has an avant-garde sound and a bright bottle reminiscent of a doll in a couture dress. It is dedicated to modern sociable, creative urban women.

The composition offers a bold new vision of femininity and is rich in precious ingredients, 90% of which are of natural origin. The authors are a talented team of renowned perfumers: Dora Bagryana, Marie Salamagne, Alberto Morillas, and Fabrice Pellegrin. “To create an absolutely new effect, I chose an explosive trio of incense, wrapped in the attractive warmth of vanilla and sandalwood,” says Dora Bagryana. “To make it even more feminine, this creamy incense chord is complemented by a new note of jasmine, naturally fresh and cheerful, and a wonderful colorful scent of mango. As a result, we have the first modern incense for women, created with contrast and sensuality, highlighting the free and rebellious nature of the Paco Rabanne woman.”

The bottle’s inspiration came from Jane Fonda as Barbarella, Audrey Hepburn in “Two for the Road,” Brigitte Bardot in a shimmering chain mail, and Françoise Hardy in a mini-dress made of golden plates studded with diamonds.

Black Opium Le Parfum, Yves Saint Laurent

In these warm perfumes, vanilla is accented with notes of coffee and white flowers. Four varieties of vanilla were used for them, resulting in an alluring, invigorating, seductive, and provocative scent.

Hints of cinnamon, jasmine, and green mandarin only enhance this impression.

Guerlain Mon Guerlain Intense

In this iteration of Mon Guerlain, two vanilla notes are used. In addition to the vanilla sourced from Guerlain's workshops in Orphin, Tahitian vanilla is added. This makes the perfume even more exquisite and deep.

The composition also features bitter patchouli, lavender, and sandalwood. Together, they create a sensual harmonious trail, a perfume metaphor for a luxurious cashmere sweater that envelops with warmth and care. In cold weather, these perfumes sound especially beautiful.

Mugler Angel Elixir

This woody-floral reinterpretation of the Angel perfume heritage comes in a dark blue star-shaped bottle – three different facets of femininity. The radiant light facet – a CO2 extract of pink pepper. The magnetic facet – an absolute of orange blossom and spicy nuances of ylang-ylang. And the main facet – a mystical base that embodies the idea of change and metamorphosis of a woman. This idea is conveyed by the combination of bourbon vanilla with the Amber Xtreme™ molecule: they create a truly cosmic sensual trail.

Innocence and strength, earthly allure and celestial charm – it’s all about modern women.
