"Velvet Heat": Saint Laurent, Kate Moss, and the Delicate Luxury of Freedom

In Saint Laurent’s Fall 2025 campaign, there’s no script. No set. Just Kate Moss, the wind, the heat, and a sense of something deeply personal. Creative director Anthony Vaccarello gave the icon full freedom — and she turned the collection into a visual poem about femininity that needs no explanation.

Against the sweltering backdrop of Los Angeles, between sky and asphalt, Moss is joined by Chloë Sevigny and Frankie Rayder — friends unafraid to be completely themselves. Together, they move through “heat and silence,” transforming city streets into runways and fleeting moments into timeless images.

The campaign is shot by legendary photographer Mert Alas, who captured not just the clothes, but their spirit: instinctive, spontaneous, alive.

Saint Laurent’s new collection is a mix of strength and softness. This isn’t just a campaign. It’s a story. A story about friendship that speaks in silence. About freedom that smells like leather. About a woman who doesn’t seek approval — only the right to be different.
