If you thought “Beef” was just about road rage, get ready for an upgrade: Netflix is releasing the second season of its cult anthology, and this time the battlefield is an exclusive country club with lush green lawns, tennis courts, and… a hidden class war.
The first teaser has officially dropped online, and it already takes your breath away. This time, viewers will experience an eight-episode drama where a young couple of club employees, Austin (Charles Melton) and Ashley (Kaily Spany), accidentally witness a massive fight between their bosses: the club manager Joshua Martin (Oscar Isaac) and his wife Lindsay Crane-Martin (Carey Mulligan).
The tone of the new season sets an immediate contrast: perfectly manicured lawns and luxurious interiors against a backdrop of hidden, escalating tension. Isaac says in the teaser: “Golf, courts, exclusivity, restraint. People need a corner where they can feel safe and pretend everything’s fine. This is a country of pretense.” But that fragile facade quickly crumbles: shouting, broken furniture, and real psychological power games become the heart of the story.
The new season expands the story from the first, showing not only interpersonal conflicts but also class confrontations, generational tensions, and cunning manipulations. Adding more heat is the club owner, Korean billionaire Chairwoman Park (Yeon Yoo-jung), whose own secrets intertwine with the club’s events.
Writer and showrunner Lee Sung Jin returns to helm the project, while the original stars of the first season, Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, remain as executive producers. All of this promises a spectacle where every scene teeters on the edge, and emotions simmer hotter than on any golf course.
Premiere date: April 16, 2026. If you’re looking for a series that blends style, drama, and subtle psychological games, the new **Beef** will be your spring favorite.
