Bella Hadid has always been a symbol of style, strength, and freedom. But her life continues to surprise and inspire. In a new interview for British Vogue, the 28-year-old supermodel spoke about how moving to Texas and her romance with a cowboy have changed her perspective on the world.
In 2023, Bella made an unexpected decision: she left her familiar glamorous life behind and moved to a ranch in Texas. Previously, she had lived on a farm in Pennsylvania with her mother Yolanda and sister Gigi. However, her desire for change and the support of her family pushed her toward a fresh start.
“I felt like a little child living with my mom at 26. I wanted something more, something that would help me finally feel independent and at peace with myself,” Bella admits.
The move changed everything. Almost immediately after arriving, Bella met Adan Banuelos — a cowboy, horse trainer, and the very embodiment of a romantic ideal. He lives on the ranch, where he works every day with dozens of horses. Suddenly, the model and the cowboy became inseparable.
“I’ve always dreamed of a cowboy. And there he was — tall, wearing a cowboy hat, like a breath of fresh air. I knew right away: He’s the one,” Bella recalls.
Adan turned out to be not just a charismatic man, but also an incredibly hard-working person. He is the youngest Mexican cowboy to be inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame. But the most important thing is that he didn’t know who Bella Hadid was. To him, she was simply a girl with horses and an open heart.
Bella admits that, despite her successful career and star status, she has always dreamed of becoming a mother. The idea of an ideal marriage doesn’t appeal to her, but motherhood is what she sees as true happiness.
“I can’t wait to be a mom. It’s going to change my life for the better,” shares the model.
Though she doesn’t have children of her own yet, Bella lovingly talks about her niece Khai, Gigi Hadid’s daughter. Her smile and childlike spontaneity brighten Bella’s life.
Life on the ranch has not only filled her soul with peace but also inspired Bella to volunteer. Together with Adan, she works with Path International — an organization that helps children with special needs through therapeutic horseback riding. For Bella, horses have become not just a hobby but real therapy.
But the model isn’t stopping there. She wants to create a summer camp for kids and advocate for the rights of women suffering from endometriosis. Bella herself went through painful periods at the start of her career and believes it’s unjust to force women to work during those days.
“Posing for Victoria’s Secret with endometriosis — that should be illegal. I’m going to talk to the White House about it,” Bella firmly states.
Bella Hadid on the cover of Vogue isn’t just a beautiful picture. It’s the story of a woman who found her path to happiness through self-acceptance, honest relationships, and a genuine desire to help others.
This turn in her life is inspiring — because sometimes, to find inner harmony, all it takes is changing cities, meeting a cowboy, and learning to be yourself.
