Protein isn’t just a trendy buzzword in nutrition—it’s the foundation of health, beauty, and energy. It plays a crucial role in muscle function, hormone balance, maintaining stable energy levels, and even boosting mood. But how much protein does a woman need each day to stay active, healthy, and radiant?

Nutritionist Lisa McDowell, who works with professional athletes and patients at the longevity center Love.Life, emphasizes that proper protein intake helps control appetite, maintain muscle mass, and improve overall health. Additionally, protein is essential for collagen production, which keeps skin firm, hair healthy, and nails strong.

In general, women are advised to consume about 30 grams of protein per meal—breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

A simple tip: your portion of protein should be at least the size of your palm. If you’re eating eggs, you’ll need at least four per meal to reach the recommended intake.

For meat eaters: chicken breast, beef, fish, eggs.
For vegetarians: tofu, legumes, cheese, eggs.
For vegans: lentils, chickpeas, quinoa, plant-based protein shakes.
Protein isn’t just about health—it’s about confidence, beauty, and energy. Listen to your body and give it the best!
